Association of German worsted yarn spinning mills
The Assocition of German worsted yarn spinners deals with the protection and the promotion of economic interests of the manufacturers of worsted yarn. In close cooperation with the German Wool Federation, the Associaton takes charge of their members’ concerns – technical problems included. It takes part in worldwide conferences and participates in tasks of the German Board of Arbitration.
Furthermore, the Association of German worsted yarn spinners connects with the German Wool Federation about common topics, particularly concerning the industrial processing of animal hair (e.g. legal prvisions of the Europea Union concerning the transportation of wool). The Associati is as well active in structuring the Blue Book (of the International Wool Textile Organisation IWTO).
