For Using
The „delivery
programme of German thread producers“ can be used as follows:
(1) Search of the supplier for a special thread quality:
- The required thread quality can be defined by means of different windows.
- After
commitment of the definition in window „main group raw material“ and releasing
the process of searching two additional windows are opened (term of priority)
with terms as for example under group raw material, raw material composition,
spinning method, thread effects, thread characteristics etc.
Product specific
terms have been given with all terms of priority, with which the searched
item can be defined.
Each window
should have a definition.
Information
to the mixing ratio of threads:
With mixtures
of two fibre components the dominating fibre share amounts to at
least 50%; with more than two components it amounts to at least
20%.
- As far as defintions are not relevant to terms, you can do without it.
Example:
Specifications
to twine methods are not relevant at the search for „simple thread“. The
order „please choose“ can therefore be unconsidered in this connection.
- The thread fineness can either be entered in Nm, dtex or
NeB.
- By clicking the button „Choose“ or „Search“ the searching process is released.
If the search had been successful one or more suppliers
producing the requested thread quality are shown.
- If a company name is clicked, besides the current production programme of this
supplier additional company-specific kinds of information will appear and
can also be printed.
- In case the system does not show a supplier for the requested thread quality,
we recommend to chose alternative choice criteria in the fields of main
group raw material, under group raw material or raw material compositition.
You have to start the searching process again.
(2) Search of thread suppliers with a mimimum of terms
If
you are interested in very special criteria, the definition can be reduced
on some windows as described below:
2.1) An article consisting of a special raw material
or being produced with a special fibre mixture is searched.
You
have to define this article by means of the following terms:
Main group raw material, under group raw
material, raw material composition.
The specifications to spin and twine methods, thread
effects and characteristics as well as thread fineness can be abandoned.
2.2) An article being produced by special spin
or twine methods or showing special effects or characteristics is searched.
You
have to define this article by means of the following terms:
Spin, twine methods, thread effects ,thread characteristics.
The specifications to main group raw material, under
group raw material and raw material composition can be abandoned.

(3) Search of the thread supplier by means of the end product
By „intended
purpose“ and an additional term the supplier/s of the required thread is/are
named (e. g. for products of work safety, clothing, thermal insulation,
for home textiles, medical or hygienic area etc.).

(4) Survey of the spinning mills being listed in this data bank
- Click „Show all spinning mills“.

(5) Contacting chosen spinning mills by e-mail
Go
to the e-mail address on the company-relevant data sheet. (This data sheet
is shown after starting the searching process. Necessary information can
be found at the end of pos. 1.)
A contact form for sending kinds of information to
the clicked e-mail address will appear. After listing the wishes and stating
the whole address of the sender it is ready to be sent.
(6) Cross connection to company home page
As
far as the concerned spinning mill has got an own home page, you have got
the possibility to call this page directly by heading for the line WWW
of the company data in question.
